UI / UX design for Lyft scooter app.

Many scooter markets now require operators to introduce a "beginner mode," limiting the speed on the first ride. Launching this mode without warning might make riders question the scooter's functionality, risking brand trust. Since safety incidents often occur in a rider's initial trips, the aim is to raise awareness of the Slow First Ride feature while maintaining a positive rider experience.
